We are on a mission to improve your smile with a personalized treatment plan to boost your confidence! We are happy that you have taken the first step to improve your dental health. Regular dental appointments are an important part of maintaining your overall dental and physical health and wellbeing.
Here's what to expect during your first dental visit
When you arrive, you will be greeted by our welcoming front desk team who will check you in. During check-in we will verify your insurance information, notify our team of your arrival, and guide you through finishing any new patient forms. To save time during you first visit, your forms will be sent via text for you to fill out before your appointment.
After you are checked in, our dental assistant team will call you back to a treatment room to review your dental history, and any dental health concerns or issues you may have. Our dental assistant will then take digital x-rays for the doctor to review.

Comprehensive Exam & Dental Health Review
As a new patient, you will first see the dentist for a comprehensive exam. During this exam, the dentist will discuss your health history and any concerns you have. This is a great time to discuss your anxieties about seeing the dentist. Our priority is to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for our patients so their appointments go as smoothly and comfortably as possible.
Your dentist will review your x-rays and complete an oral cancer screening during your exam. This screening is essential and recommended once per year.
The initial comprehensive exam will take about an hour to complete. This gives you time with our team to address any dental concerns you have while also allowing our team to identify any issues like gum disease or cavities.
Personalize Treatment Planning
Based on your exam and your dental health goals, your dentist will develop a personalized treatment plan and discuss your options.
During your first visit, you will receive a dental cleaning after the doctor ensures it is the appropriate treatment. If your treatment plan includes deep cleaning, a preauthorization will be sent to your insurance, and a separate visit will be scheduled.
Once your oral health is stabilized, you can expect to have your exam and cleaning appointments at least every 6-months going forward.
What's next?
Once your review your treatment plan with the dentist, our team will help you schedule any follow-up appointments, review payment options, and answer questions about insurance coverage of your recommended services.
During each visit you will have a chance to review your treatment plan, discover the next steps, and receive a breakdown of insurance coverage and patient costs.
Don’t forget to schedule your next hygiene appointment with our dental assistants or our front desk before you leave. It’s a great way to stay on top of your dental health. Our team will follow-up close to next appointment time to remind you of an upcoming visit.
