When you arrive, you will be greeted by our welcoming front desk team who will check you in. During check-in we will verify your insurance information, notify our team of your arrival, and guide you through finishing any new patient forms. To save time during you first visit, your forms will be sent via text for you to fill out before your appointment.
After you are checked in, our dental assistant team will call you back to a treatment room to review your dental history, and any dental health concerns or issues you may have. Our dental assistant will then take digital x-rays for the doctor to review.

Dr. Melissa Yousefi is an associate dentist for Secure Dental’s Hammond office. Driven by her compassion for her patients, she takes pride in providing the best possible care to patients, especially those with previous traumatic dental experiences and severe anxiety. Dr. Yousefi holds a B.A. in Psychology and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, cooking, and planning exciting travels.
