When you arrive at our dentist office in Lake Station, IN, you will be greeted by our welcoming front desk team who will check you in. During check-in, we will verify your insurance information, notify our team of your arrival, and guide you through finishing any new patient forms. To save time during your first visit, your forms will be sent via text for you to fill out before your appointment.
After you are checked in, our dental assistant team will call you back to a treatment room to review your dental history, and any dental health concerns or issues you may have. Our dental assistant will then take digital x-rays for the doctor to review.

Dr. Kunmin Roo is an accomplished associate dentist with a strong commitment to oral health, currently practicing at both Secure Dental’s Lake Station and Chicago offices. A 2018 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry, Dr. Roo is dedicated to staying at the forefront of dental advancements. As a proud member of the International Dental Implant Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, he has not only completed an IDIA Fellowship, but is also certified in implants, 3rd molar extractions, endodontics, and botox. Beyond the dental chair, he finds joy in watching Netflix, relaxing, and enjoying sports. He aspires to travel to Italy, and in his downtime, he cares for his two bunnies, Coco and Peanut. Driven by a passion for dentistry, he cannot imagine life without it and actively seeks personal growth outside the office to enhance his professional and personal life.
